The new @LACDMH CARE Court program helps people diagnosed with schizophrenia or other associated psychotic disorders receive treatment and services for their health and well-being.

As of December 1, CARE Court is accepting petitions for people eligible for the program. Participants must be:
- 18 years or older
- Diagnosed with untreated schizophrenia or other associated psychotic disorders and currently experiencing behaviors and symptoms
- Not currently receiving ongoing treatment

Please take the time to learn about eligibility BEFORE moving forward with the official petition process to ensure that your loved one is receiving the right kind of care they need. For more information on what resources CARE Court offers and who is eligible, visit: dmh.lacounty.gov/care-court
